Day 2

Hey! I'm back with Day 2's photos. I took a lot more photos. Today started off very early. My dad came and picked me up from home. He gets out of work around 11:30pm, so by the time he arrived, it was around 12:00am. When I packed my stuff, of course I had to pack my camera. I had to document everything I did and saw today as stated in my introduction post.
So here we go, June 2, 2012.

Passing through Hartford, we drove down passed the Train/Bus station. Or at least I think it's both, I haven't been in here since I was a little sprout.

Cruising through Hartford, we look a left here. If we had gone straight, we would've reached Downtown Hartford in less than a minute.
I've never really been around here at night. Not with a camera, at least. I took some photos earlier of this same area. I had aperture on, attempting to get some cool designs with the lights, but I guess there was too much light for that to happen.

To the highway! No... not the one ahead of us. Like I said, we took a left, and went to Manchester.
Here are a couple of the highway signs we passed.

Shortly after, we made it home. I went to sleep. I woke up a few hours later and took more photos.

As I was given the glorious task of taking out the trash, I passed these wonderful flowers on the side of the apartment. Kind of odd to see them there, I mean flowers are always nice. It's just odd because they're just there...next to the apartment building.
But they were still beautiful!

While I was outside there was this big tree I took a picture of.

I like how the tree bark is really detailed in this shot. I took one before that wasn't as awesome as this so I rather not even show it.

I came up to this rail as I was making my way back inside and came across this strange bug. Wasn't necessarily a fly, or a nat either. I still can't figure out what it is but I'm not really interested. I'm just glad it was there for me to take photos of it.

I think it's wings got wet so it couldn't fly away. It was just walking around on this handrail, chillin'. I noticed it's mouth was repeatedly pressed against the rail, so I wonder if it was eating something off of it, smelling something, or just plain bored.
I'd be bored if I had wings yet were grounded. That must suck!

Above my logo is where the little fly creature was.
Behind me is the entrance to my dad's home, among other things found in the yard of an apartment building.
Like this light post for instance.

Back inside I go, just to chill for a little bit. I saw my dad's globe and thought it was pretty cool. The lighting was all messed up so I had to make the blinds shine some light on at least one side of the globe. As you can see, it gave me enough light to take this photo. My goal was to get a photo of the U.S., but I forgot about it when I started to worry about the lighting. So instead I took a shot of this part of the globe.
Decent! I ain't even mad!
The blinds look nice in the background.

Not long after, I went outside for a brief moment just to take a picture of myself and the sidewalk in a panoramic styled photo.

That's all for today! Thanks for following my documented journey on June 2.
See you tomorrow.
